Loctite 572 Loctite 572 is a white, slow curing pipe and thread sealant designed to give you an instant seal to stop gasses and liquids from leaking. Designed for metal pipes and fittings, Loctite 572 offers a breakaway torque of 7 Nm. This Loctite thread sealant is methacrylate based, and is thixotropic to reduce migration after application. This product cures when confined in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces and prevents loosening and leakage from shock and vibration. This liquid is composed of Amorphous, Crystal-free, Cumene, Cumene Hydroperoxide, Ethene, Fluorphlogopite, Fumed, Homopolymer, Octan-1-Ol, Polyglycol Dimethacrylate, Polyglycol Dioctanoate, Silica, Tetrafluoro and Titanium Dioxide. Its thixotropic nature reduces the migration of liquid product after application to the substrate.
