DECS 50/5 Brushless Sensorless Amplifier
The digital EC sensorless amplifier is a 1-quadrant digital controller for the control of brushless dc EC motors up to 250W. Rotor position/Hall sensors are not required- the actual rotor position is evaluated by using the Back-EMF sensing technique
Functions include, digital speed control; direction, disable, motor braking, set value input 0-5 v
Maximum speed 80,000rpm (motor with 1 pole pair)
Maximum current limit adjustable
Selectable start up modes
Adjustable speed regulator gain
Motor connection either by using plug-in screw connector or flex print connector (FPC)
Note
Depending on the rotor position and size of the coupled load, there is a short start up procedure prior to motor run up, during this procedure the controller also determines the rotor position. This is achieved by the controller alternating the motor in forward and reverse direction for a very short period.
