Combined Liquid Flow Transducer/Transmitter
Fluid passes through internal flow straighteners, to stabilize turbulence, before impacting on the vaned turbine rotor which rotates at a speed proportional to the flow rate. The rotor vanes have stainless steel tips which are detected by a sensor mounted externally to the glass tube.
Model 1
Polyester body and borosilicate glass tube; acetal bearings and nitrile seal material
Accuracy ±2% of indicated flow
Operating temperature range 5 to 60°C (water) 80°C (oil)
Port connection: 1in. BSP parallel thread
Work in any plane and accept reverse flow
Dimensions (mm): H100 x W42 x L196
Converts the detected pulses to a 4-20mA output signal, proportional to the flow rate
Supplied calibrated to 4-100 l/min. (may be user recalibrated up to a maximum of 150 l/min.
Easy to install
Model 2
Gives a pulse output proportional to flow rate
Ideal for use in totalising/latching applications when used with a compatible counter
Supplied calibrated to 2-150 l/min. (NOT user adjustable)
Parker Liquid Flow Transducer
The Parker liquid flow transducer is designed to operate with most of the liquids. This transducer has an output current of 4mA to 20mA. The output signal is proportional to the flow. The fluid passes through internal flow straighteners to stabilize turbulence, before impacting the vanned turbine rotor, which rotates at a speed proportional to the flow rate. The rotor vanes have stainless steel tips, which are detected by a sensor mounted externally to the glass tube.
