AFBR-16xxZ Series Fibre Optic Transmitters
The AFBR-16xxZ transmitter, from Avago Technologies, makes use of a 650nm light emitting diode (LED) source with integrated optics and driver IC for efficient joining with a 1mm polymer optical fibre (POF). The AFBR-16xxZ input is also compatible with TTL logic families. The 3-pin transmitter is packaged in the Versatile Link housing which allows them to be interlocked (N-plexed together) to optimize space and to provide dual connections with the duplex connectors.
The AFBR-16xxZ transmitter and AFBR-26x4Z/25x9Z receivers operate any signal from DC to:
50MBd at up to 50m with 1mm POF,
10MBd at up to 200m
50MBd at up to 120m with 200μm Plastic-Clad Silica (PCS)

HFBR-0400TZ Series Miniature Link Components
The HFBR-x4xxTZ series, from Avago Technologies, are miniature link components with the threaded ST port option. They come with 5.1mm (0.2 inch) of 3/8-32 UNEF-2A threads on the port.
Components with the threaded ST port have the same high electrical, optical and mechnical performance as that of the base components. The HFBR-x4xxTZ devices are suitable for panel mounting to chassis walls with a maximum thickness of 2.8mm (0.11 inch) when using nuts and washers from the kit.

AFBR-15x9Z Series Fibre Optic Transmitters
The AFBR-15x9Z series, from Avago Technologies, are a family of analogue transmitters designed for 1 mm Polymer Optical Fibre (POF) and 200 μm PCS. The AFBR-15x9Z fibre optic transmitters use a 650 nm LED.
Their 4-pin Versatile Link packages are designed to be interlocked together, making them ideal for applications where space saving is required. Other suitable applications for the AFBR-15x9Z series include; factory automation, serial field buses, high voltage isolation and extensions of RS-232/RS-485.
