How the Air Blow Gun Works. The nozzle forces compressed air through the adjustable shim directing the air at high speed onto the outside of the nozzle cone. The design of this RS Pro Air Blow Gun amplifies the output airflow by entraining ambient air at a ratio of 51:1. No air comes out of the hole at the end of the nozzle, a lock screw is located in this position to adjust the shim.
